Take a wild guess how many flu cases the United Kingdom has seen this season
The flu has been plaguing our planet a lot longer than the coronavirus has. In fact, if you look back through history, civilization has faced down influenza outbreaks for about 500 years now.
And it still likely existed before then, it just wasn’t on our scientific radar.
So, when you take a look at the numbers coming out of the United Kingdom this flu season, those stats might seem pretty darn miraculous.
“Health authorities in England have announced that not a single case of influenza has been detected this year, with one professor suggesting that mask wearing should be kept in place during winter to drive down flu deaths to ‘zero.'”
And while the US can’t claim zero cases, numbers are WAY down.
“According to the CDC, the cumulative positive influenza test rate from late September into the week of December 19th was just 0.2%, compared to 8.7% from a year before.”
