This man was denied a concealed carry permit because of a music video

Lamont Gist already had a concealed carry permit when he went in for a routine renewal. He had all of his paperwork in order, so he was confused when he was denied a new permit.
When pressed, one official held up a printed-out screenshot from one of Gist’s rap music videos.
“What does that have to do with my CCW?” Gist asked.
The deputy responded, “A picture says a thousand words.”
Except that picture didn’t. Although Gist and his brother were surrounded by what appeared to be weed and alcohol, Gist said they were only props.
The song in the video was about the problems faced by people addicted to drugs and alcohol, so I really think those lyrics were the “thousand words” the deputies were looking for.
