Joe Biden Congratulates Nancy On Her Narrow Victory
If you were expecting the Left to grow a spine and actually dethrone Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, I’m sure you’re pretty disappointed.
The good news is that there were two Democrats who actually voted against her. Three others voted “present” instead of casting a ballot for or against her.
And none of the dissenters were members of The Squad that’s been whining so much lately…
Ultimately, there were only 8 votes separating Pelosi from the Republican contender, McCarthy.
And Biden was very quick to offer her congratulations, while lauding her as a “trailblazing leader.”
And this is what she’ll be busy trailblazing Congress to do:
“Indeed, the pandemic has pulled back the curtain and shown even worsened disparities in our economy and our society,” said Pelosi in the speech. “We must pursue justice: Economic justice, justice in health, racial justice, environmental and climate justice, the list goes on. Every morning in this chamber, we take a pledge: One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Will this fourth stint be Pelosi’s last as Speaker of the House?
