Trump issues four-word press release: “Who shot Ashli Babbitt?”
Former President Donald Trump sent an email via his Save America PAC on Thursday asking, simply, “who shot Ashli Babbitt?”
Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, was the only person killed during the Capitol riot on January 6, when Trump supporters entered the Capitol Building with the intention of stopping a congressional vote to certify the Electoral College’s vote for Joe Biden.
There has been little to no outcry over her death, though she was unarmed during that protest turned riot on that day and her small size surely posed no real threat to the armed guards.
And yet, no charges are being filed against the officer who killed her. In fact, they won’t even reveal the person who killed her. Cowards.
“Right now, we have no accountability — zero accountability — they give no explanation to justify the shooting and they do not even identify the officer. That is what they do in autocratic countries, not in the United States,” said Maryland-based attorney Terrell N. Roberts III.

Kinzinger bucks McCarthy over Jan. 6 commission warning: “Who gives a s–t?”
Last week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., introduced a bill to create a House Select Committee to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
When asked if he thought there would be a possibility that he could lose his committee assignments if he were to go against his fellow Republicans and join Democrats’ Capitol riot investigation, he replied, “who gives a s–t?”
“Today, I voted in support of the Select Committee (H.Res.503) because the truth matters,” Kinzinger said in a statement on Monday. “Because it is our duty to conduct a thorough investigation of this most egregious attack on the Capitol. Because the American people – and especially the families of our brave law enforcement on the front lines that day – deserve answers.”
