Liz Cheney’s future uncertain as she seems to be unhealthily obsessed with Trump
You know I’m the first to celebrate a powerful, independent woman, but Liz Cheney might be taking that whole schtick a little too far.
Although most of the country is going about their business, Cheney seems weirdly obsessed with former President Donald Trump. In fact, she’s been so excessively vocal about it that her leadership has already been called into question once.
As the third highest ranking GOP Representative and the most senior GOP woman in Congress, Cheney’s words matter. That’s why her obsessive feud with Donald Trump is so problematic.
Instead of focusing on the issues that matter, she’s too busy getting into Twitter wars with Trump and telling anyone who will listen how terrible of a person he is.
Okay, Liz, we get it. You don’t like him.
Now, a senior GOP source says it’s likely that next week, there will be a vote on whether to keep Cheney in her current position as GOP conference chair, or oust her once and for all.
