Everything we know about Federal raid on Rudy Giuliani’s home and office
Wednesday’s 6:00 A.M. search of former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s Manhattan home and office led to a storm of reports. Given that the investigation has been underway for two years, untangling all the information is time-consuming, at best.
The investigation is centered on Giuliani’s activities in Ukraine, including whether he conducted illegal lobbying for Ukrainian officials while he pursued an investigation linked to President Joe Biden.
Giuliani’s attorney said the warrant was for evidence of communications between Giuliani and reporter John Solomon. Washington DC Attorney Victoria Toensing was also served with a search warrant for her cell phone.
Where Giuliani, Solomon, and Toensing all intersect is in connection with two individuals already under indictment—Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman. Parnas and Fruman were the reputed sources for much of the documentary information from the Ukraine that was reported by John Solomon.
