The border crisis has received a lot of media coverage, mostly focusing on how children are coping with horrific living conditions. Under Obama, Trump, and now Biden, our southern border continues to be a huge issue.
This author thinks the root of the problem lies in our legislature.
The fact is, many state and federal agencies no longer have much authority to enforce immigration laws. Especially under Biden, there’s no real way for illegal immigrants to face any legal consequences.
There’s also the problem of immigration fraud, where people with ill intentions can easily lie to the government to stay in the U.S.
With Biden taking more and more authority away from ICE and ignoring the border completely, what does our future look like?
